These photos are Copyright © Mark A. Taff, and usually licensed under the GNU GPL, version 2 (license, wikipedia). See the copyright and license statements in the jpeg comments field for the actual copyright and license that applies to that particular photo.

As of December 2005, the shots are now taken in Nikon raw format(NEF). The images in the galleries from that point on are usually automated batch conversions from NEF to JPEG. The raw images are not on the site as it is impractical for many reasons. If you absolutely need an NEF version, drop me a line.

The photos in the galleries haven't been post-processed in any way, nor have they been categorized. Also, many of the 'bad' shots have been left in the gallery. Just because I think a shot is bad or didn't turn out right, doesn't mean it isn't perfect for your purposes.

Please feel free to use these photos as the applicable license permits. Contact me to make other licensing arrangements. As a personal courtesy to me, if you use these images for something really cool, please let me know about it, and send me a sample.

The portfolio is (at least it will be) a collection of shots that are my personal favorites. These photos may have been cropped and otherwise tweaked, but nothing beyond what would be possible when making a print from a negative. If you need a higher-resolution version of a portfolio image, you will have to find the JPEG version in the gallery.
