On January 12, 1991, the U.S. Congress authorized Operation Desert Storm, the use of offensive military force to expel Iraqi forces from Kuwait. Five days later, the air war started, and on February 23rd, my Big Red One comrades and I invaded Iraq. Hopefully, there won't be any war(s) for Emma to fight or support.
